Freestall Barn Design for Wendt Dairy Farm in Pound, Wisconsin.

Located in Pound, WI, Wendt Dairy Farm partnered with Fox Cities Builders to take their operation to the next level.

This project centered on constructing a new freestall barn designed to house dry cows, a maternity pack, and multiple milk groups—creating a well-organized space for better herd management and animal comfort.

The barn features 300 stalls and a naturally ventilated design equipped with Agri-curtains and cupola fans, ensuring optimal airflow and animal well-being. By increasing capacity, this build sets the stage for future growth while enhancing daily efficiency across the farm.

In addition to the new barn, we added a drover’s lane to the family’s existing freestall barn. This smart addition improves cow flow to the parlor, making chores smoother and more efficient. We’re proud to support Wendt Dairy Farm with forward-thinking construction solutions that prepare them for the next phase of expansion.
