Project Description
Calf Barn Construction for Golden Ridge Dairy located in Crivitz, Wisconsin…
Fox Cities Builders completed this calf barn construction project for Golden Ridge Dairy in Crivitz, Wisconsin. The barn is designed for reliable airflow and animal comfort, using natural ventilation supported by cupola fans, Rollomatic curtains, and positive pressure air tube ventilation to maintain consistent conditions year round.
Inside, the barn includes pack space for multiple calf groups, calf and heifer headlocks, and slant bar feeding. A stepped feed alley curb is built to match the throat height of each age group, improving feeding comfort as calves grow. The facility also features a heated milk replacer control room for accurate mixing and consistent feeding, along with a manure bay to support clean, organized daily operations.
This project reflects our practical approach to calf barn design/build, providing Golden Ridge Dairy with a durable, efficient layout that supports calf health and smooth day-to-day workflow.
