Phil Ullmer, President
Phil is the third eldest of seven children—all born and raised on a dairy farm in Seymour, WI. At a young age he learned the value of hard work and developed a passion for agriculture and construction. When Phil was just thirteen he handed in a school assignment that said he wanted to “build buildings for a living.”
Today, Phil is fortunate enough to combine his passion for building agricultural structures with building customer relationships. Phil’s number one priority is listening to the needs of our customers to ensure that their project allows them to experience the best.
Phil enjoys spending his free time with his wife and six children. His hobbies include raising registered Black Angus beef cattle and hunting.

Jay Vanden Heuvel, President
Jay has 18 years of construction industry experience. After six years as a crew member and foreman, he started Fox Cities Builders with business partner Phil Ullmer. In early stages of the company, Jay took on dual roles tending to both business needs and work in the field. Jay continued this “double role” until 2008 when he became a permanent figure in the Fox Cities Builders office focusing on estimating and finance for the company.
Outside of the office Jay enjoys camping, spending time with family, ice fishing with his kids, plus bowling and golfing.

Travis Ullmer, Vice President
Travis started his agricultural career at the young age of five when he began helping out on his family’s farm. He got his first job at 11 and soon realized he enjoyed spending time on farms, so after graduating from high school, he started working with Fox Cities Builders. Travis’ knowledge of agriculture helped him to move quickly from crewmember to foreman to project manager to a partial owner in just eight years. This background gives him the knowledge necessary to take projects from the building stages to completion.
In his free time, Travis enjoys hunting (especially bow hunting for whitetails), working with Holstein genetics and spending time with his family.

Dan Ullmer, Agricultural Sales Consultant
Dan has eleven years of combined construction experience. He started his career as a mason then was promoted to a mason foreman and was looking for more of a challenge when deciding to take on the role of building foreman at Fox Cities Builders in 2010.
When not at work, Dan enjoys bow hunting white tail deer and farming.

Jason Ullmer, Agricultural Sales Consultant
Jeremy Noll, Commercial Sales Consultant
Jeremy started his journey within the Industrial/Commercial Technical and Specialized coatings industry, primarily focusing on sales and design after attending college 25 years ago. From there he ventured into Specialty Construction and Services, General Contracting and Remediation by forming and running his own successful company for 15 years. What drew Jeremy to Fox Cities Builders was their pursuit of excellence and the dedication of the company toward a team driven goal.
Outside of work Jeremy is secretly a billionaire jet setting antihero who travels the globe on the weekends and nights igniting a beacon of truth to the corners of the world where darkness has beset the populace 😉 He is an avid reader of fiction (obviously), fantasy and steampunk. He enjoys anything related to Star Wars (Vader is his hero), Sci-Fi movies, Classic B movies of the early Sci-fi Horror genre, Russian history and language, Russian communist propaganda posters from the WWII to the early 80’s, anything related to science or technology and sport bikes (motorcycles).
He can often be found working in his yard/garden, workshop on another home project or fixing something, reading or just out for a ride. He spends his time with his 3 Samoyed dogs and 2 cats.

Cody Erdmann, Architectural Draftsman
After graduating from high school, Cody attended NWTC to study Architectural Technology. Since then, Cody has racked up twelve years of experience in drawing agricultural buildings, he is one of two architectural draftsmen in the organization and has gained thirteen years of experience in steel detailing. Cody can bring eighteen years of AutoCAD experience to your project, as well as personal experience in constructing pole buildings and sheds, which gives him a different perspective on the building process.
In his free time, Cody enjoys hunting, fishing and most of all spending time with his wife Michelle and son Carter.

Nick Evers, Architectural Draftsman
Nick was introduced to agriculture at a young age by spending his summers at a family farm, and eventually that turned into a job. He became interested in architecture by taking a series of drafting classes in high school. He attended the University of Milwaukee and graduated with a degree in Architectural Design. As a small town guy, he realized that city life wasn’t for him, and that he wanted to pursue rural architecture. He loves how each building is a new adventure as he watches it come to life. Nick is very grateful to Fox Cities Builders for giving him this opportunity to start his career and let him combine his passions of architecture and agriculture.
In Nick’s free time, he enjoys spending time on the family farm working with a variety of animals. He also enjoys four-wheeling, snowmobiling, watching movies and listening to country music.

Jeff Nooyen, Architectural Draftsman
Ben Trost, Estimator
Ben was born and raised on a farm nearly 40 years ago. He attended four years of agricultural classes in high school and became very knowledgeable about what farmers need and want. At the age of 22, Ben got into the construction business. Since then he has built houses, barns, garages, parlors and just about anything else that changes the horizon. Ben was a Building Foreman at Fox Cities Builders for many years learning multitudes from working with his team. In 2018 he stepped into the office and began his career as an Estimator. With his prior experience, he is able to estimate and order materials for projects and communicate efficently with the Foremen in the field.
In his free time, Ben enjoys time with his family, golfing, playing softball, and bowling.

Jeanne Rohloff, Administrative Assistant
Having owned their construction & restoration company at one time, Jeanne and her husband Mike are no strangers to the construction industry. As adminstrative assistant Jeanne wears many hats and is always ready to greet our guests with a smile. She enjoys going up north on the weekends, riding UTV, horseback riding, gardening, golf, and spending time with family and friends.

Angie Larsen, Manager of Business Development
Angie was born and raised on a dairy farm that was in operation until April 2019. Throughout her career she has worked within the dairy industry as a relief milker, parts specialist for a milking equipment company as well as director for breakfast on the farm. Customer service and training are the core of her background. She enjoys attending trade shows and career expos talking about the opportunities and careers in construction. You may even catch her conducting a live Facebook or Instagram video from our jobsites and posting on our social media platforms – be sure to check them out!
In Angie’s free time she enjoys traveling with her husband, hunting, 4-wheeling, and spending time on her family farm with her nieces and nephews. She is also always on the lookout for new restaurants in the Fox Valley and is always up for a sample of good craft beer.

Adam Krull, Maintenance/Trucking
Adam’s interest in agriculture started when he was old enough to help with chores on the family farm, and grew to working on the neighbor’s dairy farm, then to fixing tractors at Tesch Bros. Implement. In 2007 Adam started his career at Fox Cities Builders working as a crewmember with Phil and Travis. Training, along with a strong work ethic, helped Adam move into the foreman position he’s held for the last four years. Adam’s pride in his work has allowed him to build quality structures for our customers.
In his free time, Adam enjoys hunting, snowmobiling, doing projects around the house, and spending time with his wife Carrie and their boys, Cooper and Kaden.

Kurt Laabs, Concrete Foreman
Kurt began his career in construction right out of high school as he was looking for a job that was hands on and out doors. He enjoys being part of the very foundation that starts a building project and working with concrete. He also says that working with Fox Cities Builders has allowed him to be home more and spend more time with his family.
In his free time Kurt enjoys hunting and watching his kids play in various sports. You’ll also find him relaxing around the campfire and cooking on the grill.

Mitch Treiber, Building Foreman
Mitch began his construction career by working through the youth apprenticeship program while in high school. He had the opportunity to work with his uncle building houses. Mitch was more focused on working with his hands vs. attending college for four years. He quickly picked up many skills in the construction building trade and in 2008 an opportunity opened at Fox Cities Builders.
Today as Building Foreman he leads his crew through various stages of building projects; it begins with understanding the plan and Mitch teaches new employees the basics to build a strong foundation with not only the projects he works on but with training new hires as well.
Mitch enjoys time spent outdoors hunting and fishing.

Andy Kneisler, Project Manager/Supervisor
Andy decided at a young age he was going to be a farmer or a construction worker. After his grandfather sold the family farm in 1996, Andy decided to get a start in construction. In 2001, the summer before his junior year in high school, he signed up for the construction course in the Youth Apprenticeship Program through Seymour High School. In the fall of 2009 he was given an opportunity to grow at Fox Cities Builders. Since then, Andy has taken over the safety director position. He also lead a crew as a building foreman.
In his free time, Andy enjoys bow hunting, walleye fishing, camping and spending time with his wife and kids.

Mike Rohloff, Project Manager/Supervisor
Mike worked on his neighbor’s farm and home farm since he was 10years old. In high school he took building construction classes and enjoyed it. At the age of 17 he began working for a construction company and by 22 he had started his own business where he worked for 21 years. As Project Manager/Supervisor he brings much experience to the crews in the field.
Mike enjoys spending time with his wife Jeanne and their children, working on the farm, hunting, fishing and golf.
