Fox Cities Builders named one of Wisconsin’s Best Places to Work in Manufacturing

Nov. 18, 2024 – Fox Cities Builders of Seymour was recognized on November 13th as one of Wisconsin’s Best Places to Work in Manufacturing for 2024. The awards were presented by Insight Publications, which has covered business and manufacturing in Northeast Wisconsin for more than 16 years, based on a survey and study conducted by the independent firm Workforce Research Group. 2024 marks the first year the awards have been presented and featured in Insight on Manufacturing magazine. A total of 10 companies were recognized.

Peter Burke, president of Workforce Research Group, said that the honored companies had an average of 90% of their employees agreeing with the statement “this organization’s culture allows me to do my best work.”

The recognition event, held at Lambeau Field last Wednesday, was hosted by Insight Publications with presenting sponsor Werner Electric Supply. Additional sponsors were Appleton Airport, Bayland Buildings, Greenfire and Executive Agenda. More than 200 were in attendance for the raucous celebration that also included the recognition of the top-3 ranked companies as well as a special spirit award, which was presented to Fox Cities Builders for creating a festive atmosphere at the celebration – with one employee even dressing up as a bright orange traffic cone.

In addition to receiving the spirit award, Fox Cities Builders was honored as a top-10 employer due to its professional development and pro-education work culture, its family-friendly policies and its excellent employee benefits, which include a generous retirement plan, a financial wellness tool and partially paid maternity leave. Fox Cities Builders also has a strong culture of fun and connection that includes a company picnic, Christmas party and family bowling event each year.
