Fox Cities Builders and WEL Companies Collaborate to Preserve Historic Truck

Fox Cities Builders is proud to announce its partnership with WEL Companies, Inc., a renowned refrigerated trucking business, in the construction of a specialized truck facility. This new facility will serve as a cherished space to preserve and showcase the original truck that initiated WEL Companies’ journey.

In 1975, Bruce Tielens had a clear and simple vision for a family business, which he named Wisconsin Express Lines. Partnering with his father Wally and then later his brother Randy, the company quickly grew into an industry-leading refrigerated trucking business, providing both truckload and less-than-truckload services. WEL Companies focuses on putting people first, exploring possibilities and leading the way. They have been guided by core values such as trust, stability, and dedication. Today the company is operated by Bruce working as CEO, working alongside his children, Chris, Dalton, and Sarah, who are involved in a variety of areas throughout the business.

The truck facility will not only serve as a tribute to WEL Companies’ humble beginnings but will also provide a space for the public to appreciate the importance of their contribution to the transportation industry. The preservation of the original truck will serve as a testament to WEL Companies’ enduring values.

The construction of the truck facility is expected to be completed by late August, 2023, and an official unveiling ceremony will be held soon after.
