Seymour Middle School Explores Careers in Construction with Fox Cities Builders

Fox Cities Builders had the pleasure of hosting Seymour Middle Schools Tech Ed students, led by Ms. Angie Arneson, for an immersive exploration of careers in construction. CEO Phil Ullmer kicked off the day by sharing the story of how Fox Cities Builders started over 20 years ago, and highlighted our partnership with Performance Fab.

Following the welcome, students toured the Fox Cities Builders offices and the Performance Fab facility. During the tour, they gained hands-on experience in various aspects of construction, including drafting, estimating, welding, and automotive maintenance. This engaging approach allowed students to see how classroom concepts apply to real-world projects and career paths.

The event concluded with a Q&A session where students had the opportunity to ask questions about the construction industry, further sparking their interest in potential future careers. We extend our gratitude to MCC, Inc., Airgas, and Miller Welders for providing a Save dditional equipment and making the day even more interactive.
